I am taking my crc exam soon-October of 2007 and am a little nervous about passing it. Since I graduated almost a year ago and am sure I may have forgotten a lot of information I will need to know for the exam. ANY TIPS FOR PASSING THE EXAM?? I have obtained a review guide which I am studying. Thanks for any assistance you can offer. ~ Susan
Susan, I am taking it in October as well, and I am using several study guides including the Encyclopedia of Counseling by Rosenthal and Dr. Hutchinson's manual with loads of info directly related to the CRC. I am taking the sample exams I receive by email from Dr. Hutchinson daily - and now, three and four per day as that day grows closer. Susan Jones
Thanks for the reply and information on resources to study. I have had to postpone taking the CRC exam until April of 2008 now due to a death in the family and other personal issues so I will (thankfully) have more time to prepare for it. I will definitely look into the resources you mentioned. Good Luck on the exam (although it seems like you are well prepared and won't need luck. Susan Blosser
Susan, I am sorry it took so long for me to reply. I am also sorry for your loss.
I believe I may be as prepared as I am going to get! I will concentrate more on ADA legislative history and rehab status codes next week...I am doing much better on the daily sample exams I get from Dr. Hutchinson. That's comforting.
